Country Roads Angel Network (CRAN) is West Virginia's first accredited angel investment network, founded in 2019 with the mission to support early-stage entrepreneurs in the state through mentoring and capital deployment. Despite forming shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization has demonstrated resilience and growth, building a network of 32 accredited investors as of July 2023. As of that same date, CRAN achieved independent status as a solely autonomous entity.
