About

gener8tor Oklahoma City Accelerator is a 12-week in-person startup accelerator launched in 2022 as a partnership between gener8tor, the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST), Cortado Ventures, and Boyd Street Ventures. The program is designed to invest in and support high-growth companies with ties to Oklahoma and the Midcontinent region. Through its structured accelerator model, the OKC program provides $100,000 of seed capital per cohort company, along with access to gener8tor's international network of mentors, industry experts, and investors. The accelerator leverages gener8tor's broader platform—which manages over $100 million in assets under management and operates a network of 1,500+ alumni across multiple accelerator locations nationwide. The program has completed two full cohorts, serving 16 startups, and runs parallel gBETA pre-accelerator tracks to broaden the pipeline. Focus sectors include Fintech, Biotech, Aerospace, Ag Tech, Energy Tech, Manufacturing, and Logistics. Participating companies gain curated access to gener8tor's investor network through ongoing events and programming, mentorship from domain experts, and operational support for scaling. The accelerator follows gener8tor's broader economic gardening philosophy, which emphasizes supporting local founders to drive organic growth while attracting outside capital. gener8tor itself is an established national accelerator platform founded in 2012 and headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, with a team of over 100 members including 48 partners across its multi-city operations. The Oklahoma City location represents the organization's expansion into the Midcontinent market, positioning the region as an emerging hub for venture activity.
