The project will include real-world experiences, providing opportunities for new angel investors to engage in pitch competitions, participate in angel networks, and connect with experienced venture investors, in sync with the stages of venture development. ... Funding will support two new related programs: KC BioAngels, which will recruit and educate new and existing angel investors through an eight-week experiential program that guides participants through the process of selecting and conducting due diligence on their first life science investment; and the KC Bio Diligence Hub, which will train a cohort of analysts to assess life science companies and create due diligence packages that can serve as a ‘gold standard’ of investment readiness for other investors.
